Mag. Irena Gogl-Hassanin’s main focus lies on aviation law, financing M&A and corporate law.

Before joining Benn-Ibler, Mag. Gogl-Hassanin worked for several years as an attorney at a law firm specialising in aviation law. At her previous employment, Mag. Gogl-Hassanin could strengthen and consolidate her knowledge in the field of aviation law to perfection.She has authored various publications and lectures since 2008 at the Johanneum University of Applied Sciences (Graz) at the Master’s Programme Aviation, initially on legal principles and since 2015 on financing, Her clients include airlines, which she supports continuously in the defence against claims by passengers. Mag. Gogl also advises financiers of aircraft, for whom she structures and documents loan or leasing financings.

She advises clients from various industries on the purchase and sale of shareholdings and companies. For example, she supported a start-up in the telecommunications sector in attracting an investor, assisted an Austrian private bank in its takeover by a European financial institution and advised an Austrian hotel developer and operator in various hotel acquisitions.

In the area of financing, she primarily consults banks and financial service providers and also represents her clients in court. In corporate law, she assists in the formation of companies and partnerships and oversees all legal agendas that arise in day-to-day operational business.

In addition to German and English, Mag. Gogl speaks French and Polish and has gained international experience in law firms in Poland and the UK.
