Caroline Bauer studied law at the University of Vienna and at the Universidad de Alcalá. After graduation of the court praxis at three different Austrian courts, she studied international law and arbitration law at the University of Edinburgh. In the course of her postgraduate studies she took part at the Willem C. VIS International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court as student and team leader. Since then she regularly acts as arbitrator in this international competition.
Caroline Bauer has worked as an Associate in an international law firm in Vienna from 2007 until 2010 and has successfully passed the Austrian bar exam in November 2010.
From May 2010 to December 2011, she worked as Associate at Benn-Ibler and was admitted to the Austrian bar association in January 2012. She advises national and international clients in civil law and arbitration proceedings. Furthermore, Caroline Bauer is specialised in civil and commercial law.
